dreads

moise's hair finally got to the 1.5" - 2" length - long enough to start the dread process! he has been buggin everyday..."wyclef hair today?" so this weekend was the day! took about 4 hours total, but we sectioned, twisted, waxed and banded his whole head! his head huuuuuurts, but he likes how it looks and is excited for it to start looking like "wyclef!" we'll be posting update pics as the process progresses...but here are the first few:

Well know I know who I 'll ask if we decide to go that way...Moise! Okay, maybe you rather than Moise but we are seriously thinking about dreds at some point. Since we're adopting a girl too, part of me thinks dreds might be good practice for Conleigh's hair.

I think dreds for Conleigh would be a great idea! It's a LOT of work though and a LOT of upkeep for the first few years, though - so be prepared. I had my hair dreded for a while until hubby got tired of the beeswax smell! (see my profile pic). anyway, good luck!
